Requesting a Change of Address

I recently got a new neighbor. They're quite handy and construction started quickly. Normally, I would be thrilled at the prospect of meeting someone new. But's not that I don't like them, I'm just not a fan of their decorating style. Particularly how they're decorating my house.

Oh the lovely Carpenter Bee. Please note, you shouldn't handle insects, or any wildlife, unless you are absolutely certain you can do so safely (and legally). Just because large solitary bees tend to be docile, they can still sting if they need to. 

The telltale sign of a bee at home. Unfortunately, I may have to serve an eviction notice this summer. I quickly built a little bee home, hoping I can get them to move in. 

Made from whatever untreated scrap wood I had in the garage, all bee houses need to be cleaned yearly to prevent the spread of disease. Reed homes need to be replaced every year and homes with drilled holes need to be rebored. So no bee mansions, but happy healthy bees here 💜🐝
